ChatGPT Assistant (Apple Intelligence Edition)
Security Notice
Changelog
v1.0.4
Fixed a bug
Description
**This is the same shortcut as “ChatGPT Assistant”, except it uses Apple Intelligence instead of the ChatGPT App. So you just need Apple Intelligence enabled on iOS 26.**
This shortcut lets you ask ChatGPT about anything on your screen, like a Twitter post or news article. It’s simple to use:
1. Make the shortcut activatable via Action button, Tap Back, or Control Center. (Double tap on the back of your phone via Back Tap in accessibility settings is what I use).
2. Activate the shortcut. It will immediately take a screenshot.
3. You’ll be prompted on what you want the AI to do.
4. It will then ask you if you want to take another screenshot. If you click yes, it will wait 3 seconds and take another screenshot, then prompt you again.
5. Once you click “no” on the prompt, it will do what you asked and display the response.
Here’s a video of it in action: https://imgur.com/a/mm5RyWb
If you encounter a “The operation couldn’t be completed” error, make sure the ChatGPT app is open in the background while using the shortcut.
This shortcut only works with text, not images. It extracts the text from the screenshots and gives that to ChatGPT.
