Collection of Spotify Actions

### This shortcut contains Spotify actions that you can copy and then use in your own shortcuts. *These Spotify actions work even when your iPhone is locked!* The Spotify app doesn’t currently provide any shortcut actions for their app. However, they previously di in iOS 17 and lower. The actions in this app came from shortcuts created by devices running iOS 17 or lower. To use these actions, open this shortcut’s edit mode, tap on the Spotify icon on the left side of the action you want, and then tap Copy. Next, go into the editor of one of your own shortcuts. Last, tap on the icon of any one of your existing actions, and then tap either Paste Above or Paste Below. This will place the Spotify action in your own shortcut. If you have a device running iOS 17 or lower, you can create more Spotify actions than what I’ve been able to compile here. To do so, on that device, do the following: 1. Close both Shortcuts and Spotify. 2. Tell Siri to “play my <your playlist name> playlist on Spotify”. You can also tell Siri any other Spotify commands like “shuffle liked songs on Spotify”. 3. Wait for sound to start playing. 4. Open the Shortcuts app and create a new one. 5. In the actions search bar, type “Spotify”. A Spotify action related to what you said to Siri should show up in the search results. 6. Add that action to your shortcuts. You can then sync your shortcuts or share the one you just made to your device running the latest iOS. That way, you can still have access to some Spotify shortcuts.
